Choosing the right feeder depends on your component packaging type, machine interface, and production volume. This guide walks through the key decisions.
Step 1: Identify Your Component Packaging
- Axial tape (resistors, diodes, jumper wires) -> SAF1001
- Radial tape (capacitors, inductors, terminals) -> SRF1001
- Tube/stick (SOP ICs, relays, transformers) -> STF1002/STF1003
- Bulk/loose (connectors, buzzers, hardware) -> S-MVF01/BF200L
- Label/film (labels, protective films, foam) -> SLF100X
- Reel terminal (tab terminals) -> SRT7001
- Tray (large THT components) -> Tray Feeder
Step 2: Confirm Machine Interface
Our feeders support IO communication or standalone operation via 8-pin aviation plug. Confirm your machine brand (JUKI, Yamaha, Fuji, Panasonic, ASM) and available slot dimensions. Custom interface modules are available for non-standard machines.
Step 3: Define Production Requirements
Consider your target feeding speed (0.8s-3s per cycle), precision requirements, and unattended operation needs. Multi-tube stacking and multi-track designs extend unattended operation time.
